We, (“the Couple”) undertake to pay the Celebrant the sum of £695 for the design, delivery and conduct of the ceremony detailed above in the manner and following the script agreed before the date of the ceremony.

A non-refundable deposit of £200 is to be paid on acceptance of this contract. A payment of £295 is due on confirmation of the planning session date (approx. three months before the ceremony date).  The balance, £200, shall be paid 14 days before the ceremony date.  The fee shall include the Celebrant’s attendance at a rehearsal before the ceremony at a mutually agreed time.  All payments have a seven day payment term from the date of the invoice and paid through bank transfer.

Travel and accommodation monies outside of London are additional and will be agreed prior to purchase, approx. three months out. The Couple will reimburse the Celebrant for this expenditure through an additional invoice with a seven-day payment term.

The Celebrant undertakes to make best endeavours to conduct the ceremony on the date and at the time stated above. If delayed by circumstances beyond their control (including, but not limited to, severe illness, a car accident, etc.) this will not constitute a breach of contract.

In such an event the Celebrant shall give notice to the Couple as soon as is practicable and they will make every effort to provide an alternative Celebrant to conduct the ceremony from the same script. Should an alternative Celebrant not be found, failure to appear shall give the Couple the right to annul the contract with all monies so far paid by them to the Celebrant being refundable to them.

The Couple shall be responsible for the insurance of their goods and property and for the insurance of any goods or property provided by the Couple for use by the Celebrant in the delivery of the ceremony. The Celebrant shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such goods.

Any claim by the Couple against the Celebrant in respect of this contract or services therein shall be limited to the value of this contract.

Any variations to these terms and conditions shall be agreed in writing by all parties.

A non refundable deposit will hold the wedding date agreed. Payment due within 7 working days of declared invoice date. Balance of Fee will be required 14 days before the date (insert date).  The balance invoice will be sent to you 21 days before your date (insert date). I have a statutory right under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2013 to add interest and late payment compensation to the sum outstanding after the payment due date.
