I love working with individuals who are celebrating specific milestones in their life.  You could be celebrating a gender transition, merging of families, big birthdays or getting the all clear from breast cancer.

Not sure what you might celebrate? Here are some ideas. Retirement, housewarming, house refresh after a breakup, death party, pet funeral, coming of age or a divorce/separation.

If you would like to work with me get in touch and we can set up a quick conversation via Skype or Whatsapp.  If we decide to go ahead my fees start from £495 and I require a £200 non-refundable deposit upon appointment. This means I hold the date for you and do not accept any other bookings on this day.

From here we meet for two to three hours to discuss all aspects of your ceremony. Prior to this meeting I will have sent you a questionnaire to prompt you about what you would like to include and feel on the day. Don’t worry if you don’t get to fill this in beforehand, all I ask is that you have read and have some thoughts.

After our meeting I go away and write the script for your ceremony. Once I have emailed it to you we can have more in person meetings, calls or converse by email for any changes. The script belongs to you and you should be happy with every. single. word.

On the ceremony day I will be in attendance at least an hour prior to the start time to ensure the venue is set up as instructed. Any last minute hiccups with ceremony participants will be squared way by me.

Some travel is included in this fee. Please note travel abroad or an overnight stay will require a bespoke fee and I will confirm this quote before we start working together.

Final payment of the remaining balance is required 7 days before the wedding date. Payment is preferred by direct bank transfer. For both the deposit and final payment the invoices will be sent to you with a 14 day payment term.

Humanists UK celebrants are covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance. In the case of something happening to me there is a large network of celebrants who will fill in at the last moment. We have all had the same training and work in a similar fashion. Whilst a rare  occurrence, my notes about you and a copy of the script will ensure a celebrant stepping in will have no trouble leading your ceremony.

Sound good?! Let’s start the process. Email me! Jessica
